I'm using these stands with the Onkyo HT-S5100 7.1 home theater system. It wasn't a standard fit for any of the speakers, but they are sturdy stands with stable bases. Even though the front left and right speakers are much larger than the surround speakers, I found using wood screws in the mounting plates was easily accomplished, and the stands more than adequately supported all of them, even the ones outside the recommended specs.
