The stands are fine. I mounted some Cambridge Soundworks surround speakers on the stands with no problems. The stands are stable and adjust to different listening heights quickly.
I ordered these stands thinking it was a great price. Once shipping was added on, about the same price as the stands, the deal did not look so great.
Some vendors think it's real smart to hide charges from the customer. This is my response to hidden ordering charges; "From now on I will avoid ordering anything from any Internet vendor that goes out of the way to hide shipping and other misc. add-on costs."
Hows that for smart??? :)
