I recently purchased a pair of Atlantic 77305018 Satellite Speaker Stands, and I must say that I am content with my purchase. What's important here is; you have to set your expectations correctly. These stands are very inexpensive, so my expectations were very low. I thought the packaging would be shoddy, the instructions would be unreadable, assembly would be a nightmare and the stands would be flimsy. However, when the stands arrived, my expectations where exceeded. The packaging is very good and the stands arrived without damage. In addition, the overall finish on the stands was much better than I expected. The assembly instructions, while curt, where easier to follow than I expected. The assembly went very smooth. I was able to put the stands together in about 20 or 30 minutes. The hardware included with the kit was very good and once assembled, the stands are very sturdy.
Now for the bad news. I had to spend some time playing around with the speaker mounting hardware to get my small statellite speakers to appear straight and level. I don't know about you, but having the speaker off-center or tilted really drives me crazy. The speaker mounts are very strong, and I'm not concerned that the speakers will fall off the stands, it was just difficult to get the speakers aligned on top of the stands correctly.
