Like other people here I bought these stands for my Polk Audio RM6750 satelite speakers. Just like previous reviews I had to modify the bracket on the back to fit my speakers. It would work fine if my speakers were square in the back but they are not. The bracket is a steel rod formed in a L-shape. Modifying it was easy I just flatened out the steel bracket in a vise, cut off about 3 inchs on each side, and then reshaped the L. It was real easy and worked perfectly. The stands are sturdy and look great. I have seen other stands that are more than double the price of these. Don't worry I thought paying so much less for these had to mean that they would be cheap and weak but they are not. The base, rod, speaker platform and bracket are all steel. The only plastic part is the knob used to adjust the height but don't worry even that works great.
