Most speaker stands are expensive and don't provide much more value than these. Before I found these on Amazon I was going to make my own...I bought these to use in the meantime, and they are great! Solid bases, good mounting system, versatile to a number off different satellite speaker types. I have carpeted floors and they are sturdy on padded carpet. Small pets can't easily knock them over.
