It's a tough decision to make-- do I pay the outrageously expensive price for the speaker stands designed to go with my system, or do I buy these seemingly adequate, cheaper stands and hope everything works out?
I went with the latter option and wound up returning three sets of stands to Amazon. If you have small, relatively inexpensive speakers that won't cause you to cry should they crash to the ground, these speakers might suit your needs. The stands are a bit on the wobbly side, and the supporting rod is rather thin, so I wouldn't use them for speakers taller than 5 inches or heavier than 3.5 pounds. I found the "L" brackets designed to bolt the stand to the speakers to be too short as well (I believe they are about 4 or 5 inches tall). And I would never reccommend using the double-sided tape to affix the speakers to the stand under any circumstances!
Speaker stands seem to be a great way for speaker manufacturers to bleed some more money out of you-- I bought an Onkyo speaker set that seemed to be designed with the intent of forcing the consumer to spend and extra $130 for their proprietary stands. Consider wall-mounting your speakers if they are large or expensive!Get more detail about Atlantic Satellite 77305018 2 Speaker Stands (Black).
