First, I thought it would be bigger. the picture makes it seem so. but it's a nice little shelf. I used a little wood glue when I assembled it because I'm paranoid. wood pegs and screws tend to weaken over time in particle board shelving, but with a little glue, it's a secure bond over the area, not just a 1" screw.
