I have used these stands for a Panasonic SC-PT650 home theater as well as a Sony HT-SS2300 home theater. I have had no problems with either system. The stands are more of a matte grey than the shiny silver in the pic. I am considering painting them black. They have a sturdy, heavy base, but can be kind of tricky to fit in small spaces though.
